2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

Grown in the famous Rutherford Bench, this wine possesses incredible depth while highlighting the unique characteristics of this famed appellation. Opaque purple in color, an extraordinary nose of mulberry, creme de cassis, licorice, loam, currants, clove, wet tobacco, and black cherries fronts a plush mid-palate ripe with red and black fruits, freshly cut violets, spiced incense, and dusty minerals. A full-bodied impact on the palate, it presents a complex offering with remarkable purity, density, and balance. The lengthy finish is drenched in fruit, all framed by dusty, fine-grained tannins.    

2021 Barbera

A fantastic representation of the elevated rocky terrain that this fruit calls home, this single-vineyard Barbera highlights the expressive nature of the red Aiken soils that define this southern part of the Sierra Foothills appellation. Vibrant aromas of ripe red raspberries, crushed slate, violets, warm cherry compote, and sweet herbs meld effortlessly into a fresh and inviting palate full of delectable red fruits framed by a crimson spine of electric energy that can only come from grapes grown at altitude.
