2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

TASTING NOTES - 

Situated on the gentle slopes of the Rutherford Bench, the vineyard that grows the Cabernet Sauvignon for this wine is rooted in the historical tradition of the Rutherford appellation. Dark cherries, wild blackberries, spiced mocha, freshly cut purple flowers, wild sage, kirsch, incense, and cigar box lead into a rich and unctuous palate of fresh blackberries, chocolate-covered cherries, currant, sandy loam, truffle, and spiced cedar. The soft texture of the wine cascades over the palate with ease, culminating in a long finish full of fruit and spice, all framed by the infamous dusty tannins for which this historical site is known.
